A well-known supplier to the catering industry realised that the broad nature of its services had begun to inhibit the growth of its customer base; the reputation it had built as a supplier of quality machines meant that few of its competitors were prepared to make use of the many other services it offered. It retained Workplace Strategies to oversee the employee issues arising from a company de-merger. The organisation evolved into eight distinct legal entities in a manner that adhered to employee transmission of business laws and allowed each newco to forge its own unique identity and customer base.
