Strategic Planning
Workplace Strategies has developed particular expertise in delivering strategic planning programs. We work with companies and Non-Profit Organisations (NPOs) to facilitate group meetings of key stakeholders for strategic planning purposes.
Workplace Strategies understands the need for an organisation to plan its path and we recognise the importance of clear objectives and goals – if you aim at nothing, you will probably hit it.
Our strategic planning interventions enable an organisation to implement short-term and long-term plans that are achieved through consultation with those involved (creating ‘buy-in’ to the plans) and which clearly set out objectives, responsibilities and methods for measuring success.
How do we do it?
Workplace Strategies uses a facilitation technique based on Participlan, a visual mapping process that allows participants to generate and debate ideas and issues in a controlled environment.
What will be achieved?
Our strategic planning interventions initially explore the issues and challenges facing the organisation and then seek to find practical and commercial solutions to those issues. From the solutions offered, participants decide who is going to manage each solution, when it will be carried out and how the organisation can measure if the solution was successful. Clients are presented with a report that reads in terms of an action plan (listing short-term and long-term objectives). The report becomes a working document that the organisation can use to determine whether it has successfully implementing the planned objectives.
If your organisation could benefit from better or more strategic planning initiatives, we can help.
